2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information about three groups of people:

• Website visitors: anyone who visits secondchanceleads.com.
• Customers and prospective customers: insurance agents, agencies and their staff who request a lead count, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise contact us.
• Consumers in our lead data: people who requested an insurance quote online through one of our partner networks and whose information is included in the aged leads we sell.

3. Information we collect from website visitors and customers

Information you give us

• Lead count and order requests: first and last name, email address, phone number, agency or company name, agency street address, city, state and zip code, your role, the carriers you work with, and your lead preferences (lead types, target geography, quantity, excluded carriers and notes).
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Communications: anything you send us by email, phone or form, including replacement requests and the supporting files you provide.
• Payment: we accept major credit cards and PayPal. Payments are handled by our payment providers, and we do not store full payment card numbers on our website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers (including Google, through Google Tag Manager) automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. 4. How we use website visitor and customer information

• To respond to lead count requests, prepare quotes and process and deliver orders.
• To send order confirmations, payment links, lead files and replacement leads.
• To provide customer support and handle replacement requests.

• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To prevent fraud, protect our business and comply with the law.

We do not sell the personal information of our website visitors or customers.

5. Consumer information in our lead data

Where it comes from

Our leads come from partner networks, including comparison websites and online ads, where consumers requested an insurance quote online. Source and consent records are kept and are available to buyers on request.

What it may include

Depending on the type of insurance the consumer asked about, a lead record may include:

• Contact details: name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number and email address.
• Demographics: date of birth, gender, marital status, education level and occupation.
• Vehicle information: year, make, model and VIN (when available).
• Property and mortgage information: home or unit value, purchase date, year built, square footage, mortgage lender and mortgage amount.
• Insurance information: current carrier, policy expiration date, coverage requested, deductible and policy type.
• Self-reported health and underwriting information: height, weight, tobacco use and health risk type.
• Financial indicators: credit ranking and income bracket.

How we use and share it

• We sell lead records to licensed insurance agents and agencies so they can contact consumers about the insurance the consumer asked about. Each lead is sold to one buyer only.
• Before delivery, we check addresses against the USPS database and scrub phone numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry.
• Buyers agree to use leads only for their own business and to follow applicable telemarketing and privacy laws, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as described in this policy:

• Lead buyers: consumer lead records are sold to licensed insurance agents and agencies, as described in Section 5.
• Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email delivery, payment processing, data verification and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is needed to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools it loads, to measure traffic and improve our website. We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including providing our services, keeping business and tax records, handling replacement requests and resolving disputes, or as required by law. Suppression and opt-out records are kept so that we can continue to honor them.
